The Needs of Professional YoYo Player. 4 yoyo accessories you can't miss out.

This is the cooperation series between Zipline and the American yo-yo organization Scales.
For professional yoyo players, besides professional yoyo, you also need some accessories to protect your yoyo or to choose some suitable accessories to enhance your yoyo trick practice efficiency.
This has led to the emergence of many professional yoyo accessories, such as Duncan, Magicyoyo, or yoyofactory, or professional yoyo accessories brands, such as Ziplineor Kitty string.

We have recommended some yo-yo accessories before, and there will be more here.

The Duncan yoyo bag is Duncan’s take on a yoyo case. This case is designed to not only hold yoyos but also hold kendamas. I have been able to fit 7 regular yoyos plus one 2a style yoyo in the case. This makes it a decent option for holding a smaller collection.

The design looks well constructed and has the Duncan logo on it. Even those who don’t yoyo will see this bag and think of yoyos because of the brand name. Inside, you can also store string and other yoyo accessories due to its mesh pockets.

Though this case can hold several yoyos, its design does have some flaws. Yoyos are prone to bumping each other while in the case possibly causing some damage.

If you are looking for a case that can hold both kendamas and yoyos, then this may be your only option. This case is also good for someone who doesn’t care about the condition of the finish of yoyos and is looking for a storage option.

The Magic yoyo bearing removal tool is simply designed with one purpose in mind: removing stuck bearings. It has a hole for a keyring and a simple laser engraving with the brand’s logo.

The simple design doesn’t make it flashy or desirable, but it performs its function repeatedly without being damaged or getting bearings stuck to it. One bearing removal tool from magic yoyo will last you a lifetime and consistently complete its task.

I suggest that every yoyoer get themselves a magicyoyo bearing tool because it is cheap, effective and durable. Honestly there isn’t much more to say about a metal tube, but it is one of the best tools for the job.

In my opinion, the Slusny bag is one of the best on the market right now. It’s available in three sizes S for eight yoyos, M for 12, and the biggest one is L for a total of 24 yoyos.

It comes in stylish black color with some fantastic printing on the front side made by Brazilian thrower Rodrig Yokota.

The best size is an L bag for 24 throws because it’s tough to find something big on the market. There are also two big pockets. One is inside and one outside. You can store some strings, bearings, lube, pads, etc. The case opens with a zipper and pockets too. Everything is made from cotton and polyester.

The advantage of this case is that it also has a shoulder strap so you can carry it with you everywhere. Throws are safe there, suitable for all 1A, 3A, and 2A yoyos. 4A yoyos are ample for those storing holes. It’s durable and water splash resistant. Unfortunately, the L size is currently out of stock.

Overview:
Zipline has been making boutique style, a bulk string, for several years. These strings are loved by many and have become the go-to lines for many competitors.

String Tension/Torsion:
ZipLine Alpha Line holds tension well from the very first throw. It keeps whips and slacks very open and doesn’t require frequent releases of string tension.

Feel:
ZipLine Alpha Line feels soft and substantial in play. Its weight and thickness allow it to be good at whips, but it can catch air when whipping, causing it to move a little slower than other bulk offerings. It is very comfortable to use and provides beautiful binds.

Longevity:
ZipLine Alpha Line keeps its original feeling for an extended period, but once it moves to an older dirty string, you will notice that it loses some of its play characteristics. If you are used to switching your strings once they get dirty, then ZipLine Alpha Line will give you extra time with a clean line, but if you tend to keep lines on your yoyos even when they are old and dirty, you may be better off with other brands.

Final Thoughts:
ZipLine Alpha Line is a perfect and high-performing yoyo string with no break-in period and a long period of optimal string performance. It, however, loses most of its performance once the series has become old and dirty. Zipline strings are mainly sold in China, but I have seen them on aliexpress. If you have access to Zipline string, I highly recommend them.
